Injured at 24, I am now a 31-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair—but disability is just one part of my identity.
I’ve never been one to follow the typical path. From motorbike rider to bouncer and building a corporate fashion career, I’ve always embraced challenges head-on. I’m also a certified life coach, wheelchair marathon finisher, and someone who lives for live music. Over the past two years, I’ve backpacked across four continents before settling in Sydney
These colourful life-experiences have cultivated resilience, adaptability and stories I can I share in as part of any conversation.
I’m on a mission to change the narrative around disability. By sharing my story, I disrupt outdated mindsets, challenge perspectives, and empower people to make micro changes that create major impacts for everyone involved. My goal is to break down barriers and inspire fresh thinking that drives meaningful change.
As a 31-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair, I offer an authentic, firsthand perspective on the daily realities of navigating a world not designed for everyone. I combine this lived experience with practical ideas and strategies to help individuals and companies rethink their approach to disability, inclusion, and diversity—and redefine what disability truly means.
With a background working at a global brand, I have successfully adapted and adjusted by overcoming a severe injury, returning to work, and thriving in a demanding, client-facing role. My experience is backed by real-world insight into the challenges of integrating into the workplace and excelling despite physical obstacles.
My journey has also taken me across four continents over the past 16 months, where I’ve faced incredibly unique challenges, interacted with thousands of people, and gained insight on how disability is perceived globally. This blend of personal experience and cultural awareness enables me to challenge outdated narratives empowering companies and their employees to lead with empathy, insight, and meaningful action.
